About James
James is personally involved with the people behind every instruction, building close working relationships with landlords, sellers, buyers, tenants and developers alike.
Before founding Harrow & Vale, James spent a decade as a property investor and developer. Over those years he saw first-hand how often property portfolios were poorly managed. He recognised a clear gap in the market for an agency started by landlords, for landlords. Harrow & Vale was built to fill it, on a straightforward principle: clients should deal directly with the person accountable for the result.
James also holds First Class Honours in Digital Marketing from Cardiff Metropolitan University, with a concentration in SEO, SEM, PPC, SERP, Integrated Digital Marketing and Analytics. That expertise shapes how every Harrow & Vale property is presented and marketed.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
Staying fit. I spend a lot of time in the gym, mainly to keep myself in shape for rugby. I'm also a keen follower of politics and current affairs, and I like to stay informed and involved, particularly where it touches on housing and property.
How would your colleagues describe you?
Ambitious, visionary, driven and motivated.
What's your favourite way to spend a weekend?
Catching up on sleep first. After that, a long drive through the countryside to visit friends, ideally discovering a new restaurant or country pub along the way.
Favourite holiday destination?
The French Alps. The mountains are beautiful, and there's great skiing, great food and even better après, all in great company (most of the time).
